EnergyFlex has been powering its services through Open Energy. This falls under the Federal Government-regulated Consumer Data Right (CDR) legislation.
The CDR protects your data and privacy through strict regulations and legally binding privacy safeguards. The Australian government has designed and oversees the system, ensuring it’s safe and secure for consumers to use. We use Adatree, an accredited data recipient (ADR), to access consented data to power EnergyFlex. ADRs undergo a rigorous accreditation and continuous assurance process that is regulated by the ACCC and OAIC.
Data that you choose to share with your EnergyFlex account through CDR is transferred via secure automated technology using an application programming interface (API).
