EnergyFlex joins Noosa Business Boost program to help businesses slash energy costs and carbon emissions

Article Contents:

NOOSA, QLD – Energy data and insights company EnergyFlex today announced its participation in the Noosa Business Boost program’s new Energy, Circular Economy and Sustainable Operations category. This initiative, sponsored by the Noosa Council, provides local businesses with free access to specialised advisors to support sustainable operations.

A free-to-use, first-of-its-kind solution in Australia, EnergyFlex provides users with site-specific, reportable insights into energy consumption patterns and associated Scope 2 carbon emissions.

Powered by Consumer Data Right-protected smart meter data and a patent-pending algorithm, it calculates a unique EnergyFlex Rating out of 5, providing a clear measure of a business’s renewable energy use. A low rating indicates higher fossil fuel reliance, while a higher rating reflects greater use of renewables from the grid or on-site electricity generation assets.  The EnergyFlex Rating gives businesses a benchmark from which to improve their cost and carbon outcomes by changing the timing of their energy use.

Free expert energy consultation for Noosa businesses

EnergyFlex is committed to helping Noosa businesses embrace and benefit from the renewable energy transition.

As part of the Noosa Council-subsidised Business Boost program, EnergyFlex will offer free two-hour on-site consultation sessions to help businesses:

  • Understand their energy use patterns and related financial and environmental costs,
  • Identify and implement actionable energy flexibility strategies,
  • Maximise renewable energy usage to reduce expenses and carbon emissions, and
  • Measure, manage, and monetise the value of their Energy Asset.

“We’re thrilled to join the Noosa Business Boost program and support local businesses in their sustainability journeys,” said Garry Harding, CEO and Co-founder of EnergyFlex, who is also a Noosa resident. “With rising energy costs, the need to urgently decarbonise, and the increasing consumer focus on sustainability, it’s crucial that businesses adopt energy-smart practices. EnergyFlex’s data-driven approach and simple recommendations make it easy for businesses to take control of their energy use and achieve meaningful savings.”

EnergyFlex enables businesses to transform their energy usage profile into an asset, rather than a liability, by changing the timing of their energy use. It brings these capabilities to any size or style of business, helping them think differently about sustainability and futureproof their operations in an evolving energy market.

The Noosa Business Boost program aligns perfectly with EnergyFlex’s mission to revolutionise the way Australians interact with energy. The company’s free EnergyFlex app empowers users to understand their energy consumption through their personalised EnergyFlex Rating and suggests ways to shift their energy usage toward cheaper, greener periods.

How to book a session:

Businesses with an ABN registered business address in the Noosa Shire can book a free consult through the dedicated program page https://www.energyflex.com.au/noosa-business-boost/
